Bathing Suit Season Is Coming, Clean Your Gut Out

Weirdo alert. I’m preparing to do a bowel detox.

That sounded weird, but it’s okay. It’s something I usually do at the seasonal change but missed it on the equinox this year. So I figured to do it now, mid-May, with everything is in full bloom, as we’re heading towards the June solstice.

Consider using the seasonal bloom energy to make a shift or two in your body.

For me, it’s about getting my gut cleaned out.

In many practices gut health is the cornerstone of well-being.

Gut health is simply your digestive system. But it’s not so simple really. When your digestive system is in order you feel great, you make better decisions, and you’re able to move about fancy free from your best authentic place.




When you have an out-of-order gut your immune and nervous system can wreak havoc on your health. 

The fallout from all that? Worry. Worry is awful, especially when you know you could have done something to prevent the out-of-orderness.

So there’s a thing or three I wanted to share with you

It’s in relation to that detox prepping I’m doing that might be helpful to you.

All of them are so very simple to do. Doesn’t require any vitamix, varnishes or voodoo.

Maybe you already know about 1 or all of these, but if you don’t see if any fit for you.

1. Make this the first thing down your tube in the morning.

Fresh lemon squeezed in warm or hot water. (I add fresh ginger too).

The biggest benefit here, although there are about 15, is it helps flush out the toxins in your body by enhancing enzyme function, stimulating your liver.

2. Use this “pesky weed” herb as a boost to digestive health.

Drink dandelion root tea. Of its plethora of benefits consider this one: it’s is a diuretic that helps the kidneys clear out waste, salt, and excess water. This inhibits microbial growth in the urinary system too.

3. Shoot a shot of this daily.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV).

Again, there are plenty of benefits to using ACV, but here’s what I like: aids detoxification by breaking up mucus throughout the body and cleansing the lymph nodes to allow for better lymph circulation. A healthy lymphatic system can remove toxins from the cells in the body while improving immune system response.

That’s it.

Simple enough don’t you think?

And it can add a powerful punch to how you feel from the inside out.

Can’t you just imagine how much better your bathing suit will feel with a cleaner gut?
